Edward Laughton is a seasoned professional with a passion for Information Technology (IT), Project Management, and Risk Management. With over 30 years of experience in IT, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Xsomo, where he currently serves as Technology Operations Manager.

Throughout his career, Edward has demonstrated a strong commitment to empowering organizations to excel by identifying growth barriers and uncovering latent opportunities. He specialises in crafting risk-based business strategies, meticulously planning and executing strategic projects, and continuously enhancing operational processes.

Edward holds a master’s degree in enterprise risk management and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of the West Indies. Edward is a certified project manager and business continuity and disaster recovery professional. He continues to stay updated on the latest developments in IT and cybersecurity ensuring that Xsomo remains at the forefront of IT service delivery.

Outside of work, Edward enjoys nature, watching anime, experimenting with technology, and spending quality time with family. He is married with two children.
